Joining a house has several benefits, such as gaining access to house
spells, house point shops, and monthly rewards for reaching house point
milestones. Each house earns house points in a different way (see help
house points). To join a house, visit the respective hall and seek out the
administrator. There you can type 'house join <house name>' and pay a fee
of 25000 gold and 2000 questpoints to become a member. The command 'house
list' will list all 9 houses.
Syntax: errand request <small|medium|large>
errand info
errand fail
errand time
errand solve <word>
House errands are special tasks offered by your house representative that
challenge you in ways unique to your house's identity and values. The size
of the errand determines how many challenges you must complete before
earning your reward. Once you have been given an errand, you can check your
progress at any time using 'errand info'. Each house offers a different
type of errand that reflects the focus of that house.
The Luminati errand is a word puzzle given by Suriel. Jigsaw puzzle pieces
are scattered across a highway within the player's level range, each piece
bearing a single letter. The player must travel to that zone, collect all
of the pieces, work out what word the letters form, and return to their
house representative to solve the riddle. The larger the errand, the more
words you will need to unscramble before earning your reward. You can
submit your answer using 'errand solve <answer>'.
The Artisans errand is a crafting and delivery task given by Coralyn. A
list of items must be crafted and delivered to shopkeepers across the world,
each item requiring a specific type and level of craftsmanship. The larger
the errand, the more deliveries you will need to complete before earning
your reward. Use 'errand info' to see what items need to be crafted, what
level they must be, and which shopkeeper each one must be delivered to.
Once all deliveries have been made, use 'errand complete' to claim your
reward.
The Slayers errand is a hunting task given by Gono. A group of dangerous
creatures has been spotted on a highway within the player's level range,
led by a powerful boss. The player must travel to that highway and slay
all of the creatures including their leader. The larger the errand, the
more creatures you will need to defeat before earning your reward.
The Newbies errand is an exam given by Keyqua. A series of multiple
choice questions about the game are presented one at a time, each with
four possible answers. Use 'errand solve <a/b/c/d>' to submit your
answer. Each correct answer earns house points and brings you closer to
completing the exam. Wrong answers incur a cooldown before you can
attempt another question. Your progress is saved between sessions, so
you can work through the exam at your own pace. Once you have answered
all of your questions correctly, you will receive a bonus reward and the
satisfaction of having completed the newbie exam!
The Alchemists errand is a brewing and delivery task given by Bremund. A
list of potions must be brewed and delivered to shopkeepers across the
world, each order requiring a specific recipe that the player has already
unlocked. The larger the errand, the more deliveries you will need to
complete before earning your reward.
Every time you earn a house point, your personal pool of house points
increases and you also contribute to your house's overall pool of house
points. House points are reset on the 1st of every month at 8AM Eastern
Standard Time. Houses who have earned at least 150000 house points will be
rewarded with a random house reward (see help monthly reward for details).
A note will be posted on the house forum listing rewards for each house.
This helpfile contains an overview of the various ways each house earns
house points. House point amounts are in parenthesis.

earned will be the recipe potency/2 (per potion).
If the difficulty of the recipe is between 1‑33%, house points
earned will be equal to the recipe potency (per potion).
Failing a brew will cut the house points by half.
Example: Recipe difficulty is 70% and potency is 20. You successfully brew
14 potions. House points earned will be 14*(20/3) = 84 house points.
If the potion brewing fails, 84 would be cut in half.

daily. For example, when you create a new character, it will automatically
join Newbies, but it will not be able to earn the 20 points until 24 hours
later.
Newbies and Slayers earn house points for killing mobs. The amount
earned is based on level and hardcore mode. For levels 1‑49, you earn 1
point, levels 50‑99 earns 2, 100 to Hero earns 3, and Legend earns 4 points
While in hardcore mode, the point amount is tripled. If you are in a group
and have group boost mode on, each additional player will raise the house
points by 1. If the mob is a boss, this increases the house points by
an amount that is higher the higher level the mob is.
Healers with redirect experience on also earn the above amount (see help
redirect experience).
