You searched for familiar
1. familiar skill
Syntax: familiar <bear, eagle, dragon, gryphon, panther>
An experienced Archer can call an animal from the wilderness. The animal
will follow the Archer around and assist in combat.
Once you are able to have more than 1 pet at a time (see help beast
mastery), you will be able to summon more than one familiar with this skill.
At 50% learned, 1 familiar can be summoned, at 80% a total of 2, and at 100%
3. This skill must be learned to at least 50% to be useful.
The following is a list of familiars and their buffs, skills, and spells, if
any:
The PANTHER is affected by haste and has no skills or spells.
The EAGLE is flying and has no skills or spells.
The DRAGON is affected by infravision, haste, and fly. It can impale and
use the fire breath spell.
The GRYPHON affected by infravision, haste, fly, and true sight.
The BEAR is not affected by any buffs and it can jab and uppercut.
2. familiar loyalty
Syntax: automatic
Familiars are especially loyal to Beastmasters and thus are more willing to
take a hit for their owner in combat. This skill has a chance to increase
automatically when a pet is hit instead of the Beastmaster. The higher this
skill has been mastered, the higher the chance the pet will take a hit.
3. duplicate familiar
Syntax: cast 'duplicate familiar' <pet name>
With this spell, an exact replica of a familiar is created, including copies
of its equipment and any items in its inventory. The duplicate pet will
exist temporarily in the world, the duration of its life depending on the
skill mastery of the caster.
By adding a player's name to the end of the syntax, it will duplicate a
familiar for that player. Each player can have a maximum of one duplicate
familiar at a time. Duplicates do not count towards a player's pet limit.
Duplicated familiars cannot drop, get, or give items, and they cannot be
given items, as they cannot give them back. If they die, their items will
dissolve instead of being transferred to the pet owner. It's not possible
to duplicate a pet for a PermaDeath player.
Necromancer's demon familiar cannot be duplicated.
4. pet familiar limit max
Every class starts with a pet maximum of 1 pet at level 1.
Beast Mastery gives 2 total pets plus 1 default pet, maxing out at 3 pets
total.
Natures Friend gives 1 pets plus 1 default pet, maxing out at 2 pets total.
Tame gives 1 pet plus 1 default pet, maxing out at 2 pets total.
Undead Mastery gives 5 pets plus 1 default pet, maxing out at 6 total pets.
Finally, a Witch may cast Duplicate Familiar on one of your pets, giving you
an additional pet beyond the usual maximum.
At legend, all classes obtain an increase to the pet max by 1.
Undead Mastery will not stack with Natures Friend, Beast Mastery, or Tame.
However, Natures Friend, Beast Mastery, and Tame stack together (4 pets plus
1 default pet and 1 duplicate pet, totalling 6 pets).
5. elevate familiar
Exclusive to alchemy, this spell empowers a pet, raising its level by 1.
Normally, a pet cannot outlevel its master. However, if the master is a
Hero or Legend, the pet may advance up to 15 levels beyond the master.
