You searched for Time
1. cooldowns cooldown timers
Some skills/spells have cooldown timers. This means that if you use a
skill/spell with a cooldown timer, you will have to wait a specific amount
of time until you can use that skill/spell again.
The affects command will list any cooldowns you have. When you die, your
cooldowns are cleared.
The time leap spell can be used to reset cooldowns.
2. time leap
Syntax: cast 'time leap' <target>
Cooldown: 30 minutes.
Clerics are able to force others to jump through time to bypass skill and
spell timers. Time leap cannot be used to reset the cooldown timer of the
time leap spell.
3. alarms timers
Syntax: alarm <minutes>
If you need a reminder to quit at a certain time or to do something else,
you can set an alarm to sound in x amount of minutes. Once the alarm
sounds, it will beep you if you have your volume turned on and it will send
you a message across your screen. Alarms save through quitting and game
reboots, so if you quit and log back in later, your alarm will still be
armed and accurate. For example, if you set your alarm to go off in 10
minutes, quit the game, and log in 7 minutes later, your alarm will have 3
minutes left on it. If your alarm has gone off while you are not in the
game, you will not be notified upon logging in.
Typing alarm without an argument will show you when your current alarm, if
you have one, will sound.
4. timezone zone
Syntax: timezone check (<player>)
timezone set <timeOfDay>
timezone list
timezone cancel
time
To participate in game events, you must assign your account with a timezone.
The local time of the game is in Eastern Standard Time. Use the command
'timezone check' to check the local time of the game and which time zone you
have chosen for your account.
For a list of timezone options, use the command 'timezone list'.
To choose a timezone, the command is 'timezone set <preference>'. For
example, if you are most often online during Erion mornings, you would
choose morning with 'timezone set morning'.
You can change your timezone by cancelling your current one with the command
'timezone cancel'. This will allow you to choose a new timezone after a
a period of 24 hours.
The 'time' command shows what time it is in the Erion realm, as well as
the time the mud was last started, and the current time for the game server.
One game hour is equal to one real life minute.
5. channel notimeout token
Syntax: @ notimeout <channel name>
This syntax requires a notimeout token and will extend a channel's lifespan
by 30 days and up to 1 year.
6. rpc time
Syntax: rpc time <'eventName'> <month> <date> <hour> <minute>
This roleplay coordinator command is used to set an approximate date and
time for when the event should start. The event does not automatically
start once the time is met. The event must be manually started with the rpc
start command.
